1960

The 60s saw a rapid expansion of supermarkets across Australia: Coles opened in Victoria but at first traded under the name Dickins. In NSW, Woolworths opened their first supermarket. Vegemite was a standard and popular brand in all these stores from the very beginning. The "Happy Little Vegemites" made a comeback in Vegemite's advertising of the 1960s.

1963

Despite all the social changes of the 60s, the Vegemite packaging is perhaps the one thing that resisted change. It continued to stand for nutrition and quality.

1967

During the Summer of Love, Vegemite's advertising featured "The Three Ages of Man", and reinforced the notion that Vegemite was important to the diet of children, teenagers, and adults, everyone from 7 to 70. This theme continued for two years.
